Description
Here is a gorgeous Sterling Silver Hopi Overlay Concho Belt by the well respected Hopi silversmith, Manuel Hoyungowa. In addition to being a Hopi religious leader and the nephew of Preston Monongye, Manuel Hoyungowa is a very highly regarded Hopi Silversmith. Pieces of this caliber by Manuel Hoyungowa are seldom seen and fetch very high prices; I have found only one bolo made by him online and that bolo is priced at over $900. My Buy It Now price is extremely reasonable. I Guarantee that this concho belt was made by Manuel Hoyungowa.   The symbols on the belt are, a Bee, a Spider, 2 Kokopelli, a Cricket, a Deer, a Thunderbird, a Bear, 2 Roadrunners, a Pheasant, an Ant, a Frog, a Dragonfly, the symbol for Friends and a Mudhead.  This wonderful belt measures a little over 36 inches long, each concho measures a little under 1 1/2 inch and the belt weighs 9.2 ounces. This is Hopi Silversmithing at its very finest. Insurance is required. Check out my other items!
