Description
Evocative of the modernist style of Graziella Laffi … Extraordinary in its elegance and craftsmanship, this stunning brooch pendant is comprised of a stylized, 18K gold bird figure, which has been applied to an enamel on silver oval plaque. The enamel plaque, in turn, has been soldered to four large prongs, extending from a scalloped, oval-shaped openwork silver frame. The golden bird has been expertly hand tooled and the enameling is vibrant green, with fine speckling of yellow, white, and black enamel. The pinback is a secure rollover clasp and there is a generous jump ring, connected to an O-ring, which serves as a bail for a chain. Hallmarks: 18K, MM, 925. Dimensions: 1-7/8” wide x 2-5/16” tall. Condition: Fine vintage condition, with enamel in pristine shape. ~ SUGGESTED READING BEFORE BID!!
